4. Homemade Natural Repellent


Mosquitoes can be annoying to us, but so are most chemical repellents also annoying to the environment. Here is a simple step on how to make your own natural repellent with materials that are easily accessible. Mix 1 part oil of lemon eucalyptus or lavender essential oil with 10 parts witch hazel in the bottle. (For each drop of oil, use 10 drops of witch hazel.) Shake gently to mix. Spray to apply.



5. Energy Efficient Refrigeration Coil


 This may sound funny, but proper maintenance of refrigerator coil is a very effective way to improve its efficiency and reduce energy consumption. And it's a duty you can carry out yourself. All you need to do is this; Locate the coil, In newer models, the coils is usually located at the bottom of the refrigerator behind a kick plate or at the top of the refrigerator behind a panel. After that, get your brush and start cleaning. Do this once every six months or every 3 to 4 months if you have a pet at home.
